Developing as a Professional Educator
Introduction to the Artifacts
In my EDUC 538 course, I conducted a thorough literature review of studies surrounding the topic of technology in education. The paper connects to CSTP #6 as it was an opportunity to dive into the literature and studies in the education world and discover what is being said for my own professional development. It gave me practice in researching topics of interest that will influence how and what I teach and growing from what I discover.

In my TESP 502 course, I developed a personal development plan (it also included a student development plan). The personal development plan part of this signature assignment connects to CSTP #6 as it shows how I can self-reflect and work towards personal and professional development in the field of teaching. I discovered and learned more about various strengths I have by taking several surveys and tests. I then analyzed how those influence how I naturally teach as well as how I can develop to capitalize on them to best support and teach my students.
