Introduction to the Artifact

In my EDUC 536 course, I conducted a detailed study of a particular school and surrounding community to see how each was working individually and with the other to support all students and families. Thus, this connects to CSTP #1 in that it allowed me to focus on individual assets and needs of students and communities and how each can fit together into a system that works for the benefit of all. Additionally in this study, I took time to look into one particular student and his family and how they were being served to see how the school might better provide the resources and environment that the students it holds need. In the future I will be able to take the skills I developed through this experience and use them to analyze how I myself, as well as whatever school I am under are serving the students in our charge and supporting every single one in their learning and growing.
